Guys, did we watch the season premiere of Mad Men on Sunday? So much scandal, so much of which relating to Mrs. Megan Draper, played by the lovely Jessica Pare. The star looked chic beyond words while celebrating her recent “LA Confidential” magazine cover story this past weekend.  To reflect the laid-back vibe of the event, TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist John D. created “relaxed, undone waves. The style was a little bit of a departure from Jessica’s recent red carpet styles but she was still a total show-stopper.” Here’s how John D. got the look. 

Step 1: Work TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse into towel-dried hair, and comb through to distribute the product throughout hair.

Step 2: Blow dry the hair using a large round brush.

Step 3: Separate a section of hair, and spray the section with TRESemmé Heat Tamer Spray. Take 1-2 inch sections of hair and use a flat iron to create a “bend” in the hair, spraying each section with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray to aid in protecting hair from excess heat.

STYLIST SECRET: John D. created a bend in the hair to achieve a modern wave pattern. He first rolled the section of hair in one direction over the flat iron and then continued down the hair right through to the ends, reversing the direction each time.

Step 5: Once all hair is waved, run fingers through the hair to soften the pattern.

Step 6: Create a deep side part on the side of your choice.
