Says Restrepo, “Since bold makeup has been a huge trend this season, I expect to see a lot of bright lips or matte shades at the Oscars. To make sure a bold lip lasts, I always recommend using a lip liner to anchor the lipstick so it adheres. Using a face primer like Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Good Morning Retexturizing Primer on the lips can work too. We may also see some variations of a strong, bold eye.

If you want to recreate a look from the red carpet at home, it’s best to pick one look and make it more simple.
