Jessica Pare looked elegant as usual to present at the 2012 CFDA Awards last night. Makeup artist Stephen Sollitto created an easy, pared-down look for Jessica for the evening. Here, the details on how to get the look, straight from Stephen.
“I normally say I’m inspired by the dress and I definitely took it into account but tonight I was inspired by Jessica herself. She’s gorgeous.
I did a very light veil of MAC C3 over her face. She has beautiful skin so I wanted it to show through.
On her lids I used Laura Mercier Dune Bronze which just warmed up her lids. In the creases I deepened this color with Ulta Eye Shadow in Sable.
At her lash line I stippled with Chanel Eye Pencil in Gris Scintillant. Then brushed over it with a small brush. I didn’t want a hard eye liner line. I wanted it to be more muted than that.
On top of that on the outer corners I used Bloom eye pencil in Black. Again I used a brush to soften the line.
Then on top of that I used HourGlass’s Liquid Liner in Script. It has like a hair for application so u can do the thinnest line. Which I did right into the upper lashes.
I topped it off with Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara in Black for gorgeous rich black lashes.
On Jessica’s Cheeks I used NARS for a beautiful flush glow.
And topped off her lips with Jouer’s GiGi. A perfect pale unassuming neutral.
I loved her look. With her stricking Black Dangling earrings U just saw her when she was heading out the door not her makeup.”
I’m loving Jessica’s neutral, pretty makeup look at the 2012 CFDA Awards. What say you?
I like her look fresh and natural.
I love her lipstick, I’ve seen that similar shade from MAC.
