I just received a gift card for sunglasses brand Warby Parker and am LOVING the Thatcher shades I purchased in Cedar Tortoise. The brand boasts incredible quality and design (a very Ray Ban with a tinge of Tom Ford vibe) at a very affordable $95 a pair–across the board. Basically, you test the startup’s retro-style shades,(ALWAYS $95, including prescription lenses!) through a mail-order, try-it-at-home program. Their virtual try-on service is impressive and I just found out that the brand’s CEO is an ex-BF of one of my college roommates. The world is so very small sometimes.
