“I’ve had so much fun working on this project, and I’m delighted with the result,” Bryant said. “Rich velvet, heavy satins and opulent lames are the makings of classic cocktail attire and the inspiration for my Nailtini Collection.” I love her knack for out-of-circulation shades, evident even in her polish shades. Though metallics have experienced a renaissance, Janie homed in on some interesting twists on the usual, as is her gift.
The period appropriate cocktail-inspired names include Bourbon Satin, French 75, Stinger and Deauville.
Next month, Bryant will launch her new style book I can’t WAIT to read, The Fashion File: Advice, Tips, and Inspiration from the Costume Designer of ‘Mad Men.’
The nail lacquers retail for $14 each.
