So Very The Hills

I think I’ll be able to handle this LOST hiatus since The Hills is back on air, just in the nick of time. Is it just me or was the dramatic goodbye between Brody and Lauren a bit over the top for a week-long business trip? Though I have to admit Brody Jenner is the best looking male to walk this planet. I’ll bet Brittany Canada Whore gets a tear in her eye still whenever she thinks of him. Anyway. Here’s a list of products I’ve compiled that will allow you to channel your own The Hills gal of choice.

For Audrina’s super-white smile, try Aqua Fresh White Trays ($35). I whiten every six months or so with an over-the-counter situation and these trays are my new fave. You rock these pre-filled one-size-fits-all trays once a day for a half hour for seven days. Afterwards, my teeth were a few shades whiter. When they say you’ll have “noticeably whiter teeth in three days,” they’re serious, dolls. There was a smidge of increased sensitivity during the whitening week, but it wasn’t intolerable. If you have extreme enamel sensitivity, I’d advise you to cough up the extra dough for Go Smile.

For Lauren’s perma Hollywood glow, I recommend DermaQuest Skin Therapy Derma Glow Self Tanner for Face ($22). This moderately-priced lotion contains ingredients that provide the skin with a temporary tan that compliments your natural skin tone. Due to its formula’s gradual and even tanning process, it reduces streaks. Added bonus: advanced liposome technology repairs and prevents DNA damage from UV and environmental oxygen radicals. And it smells like vacation with no DHA smell the next day. I am so loving this stuff that I’ve incorporated it into my daily routine.

I can’t co-sign the rest of Heidi’s mannequin look of late (seriously – she looks like a fembot, n’est-ce pas?) but I do co-sign her growing a set with regard to Spencer AND her phenomly shiny gloss. Get the look with Tarte’s new Double Dose Glosses. I’m more fickle than a Manhattan bachelor with hair with regard to my glosses, but I am smitten kitten with this one. To Heidify yourself, I recommend the Go Go Goji shade, a sheer sparkling blush pink (left). If you want to go the way of Lauren (and I do because Lauren and I have the EXACT same coloring), try the Pomegranate Punch shade, a sheer sparkling red. This stuff will make your lips shine like the top of the Chrysler Building but not at the expense of color. The inner berry boost is a T5 concentrated pigment that mixes with the outer high shine gloss resulting in a rich color that helps rejuvenate your lips. Also contains the Tarte Super Fruit Complex, a proprietary blend of the five most active superfruits: goji, acai, maracuja, acerola and pomegranate. The first blend of its kind, the T5 Super Fruit Complex is loaded with antioxidant-rich nutrients and vitamins that have been known to deliver refining, antiaging and skin-restorative benefits with each application.

P.S. Did you catch the Dove Micro-Series? I loved it!

Right? I’m so glad you caught the Brittany reference. That scene was too hilar. Thanks for commenting, Jennifer! 🙂 Let me know what you think of Go Smile. I love it.

Ok…fist of all I’m ROTFL at the Brittany Canada Whore reference from last season…BRILLIANT! I also think that Brody Jenner is one of the best looking guys out there and def. the best looking one on the show. I also agree with the Heidi=fembot suggestion…I mean what was up with her lips in the season opener?
Beauty-wise I’m thinking about checking out the go-smile you suggested, thanks for the tip!
    Great blog!
